Exporting your data

Open Settings and go to Privacy. Expand the Data export section and choose Export my data.

Before the export starts, you will see a short confirmation so you know what is about to happen. Once you confirm, we gather your data and prepare it for download. If an export is already in progress when you open the page, the section opens for you automatically so you can see its status rather than wondering whether your request went through.

This is your data under your control in line with your rights under GDPR. You do not need to ask us or wait on a support ticket as the export is yours to run whenever you want it.

How Gameplainer handles your data

We collect what we need to do the job you hired us for: monitoring your game across reviews, forums, and social platforms, and delivering that back to you. Payment details are handled by Stripe, our payment processor and card numbers never touch our servers. Our full policy, including what we store and for how long, is linked from the Privacy page .

Cookies

Gameplainer keeps cookies to the essentials needed to run the app and keep you signed in. There is nothing to wrangle and no wall of toggles to fight through.

Closing your account

If you ever decide to leave, account deletion lives on the Billing page rather than here, since closing an account is tied to your subscription. We would rather understand what went wrong and try to fix it, but the door is never locked. Before you go, this is a good moment to run a data export so you keep a copy of everything.
